| Met a friend for lunch Friday at Sweet Baby Ray's. Couldn't decied what I wanted so I had a large order of rib tips for lunch and a "Duce" - pulled pork, smoked bologna, topped with cole slaw to take for my dinner later in the day. When packed to go, I had them put the slaw on the side to add when sandwich was reheated.
Sweet Baby Ray is known nationally for his sauce - many of us have tried it at one time or another. Sweet Baby Ray's in Wood Dale is small - seating for about 20 with a couple picnic tables outside.
Nothing real fancy in the decor but it's what you picture, in your mind, when you think of the classic small barbecue joint.
Sweet Baby Rays's has a 2nd location about 4 or 5 miles away in Elk Grove Village, IL. I've never been to this location but think it has seating for about 200.
