Hi everyone I have a question I'm sure some one can help. I have a friend that asks me if I could smoke him 3 slabs of pork ribs n have em ready for the super bowl game on Sunday. I'm pretty confident in smoking but my only question is. How much should I charge him for each slab? I know decent slab at the market goes for 9-11 dollars a slab at the butcher. Would $20 a slab be fair. For the slab bought smoked n ready for pick up? Any info will help. Thank u

First of all, welcome to the forum!! Second of all, 20 bucks is fair. What are you cooking? Spares, St Louis or baby backs

Well, Beechwood serves babybacks for $25, with 2 sides, Porkys is $24.99 with 2 sides, again babybacks,, Johnny Rebs is is $20.50, no sides and spares $18.50, no sides, so you'd be in the ballpark with a $20 rack of babybacks..

Have you been to Beechwoods, yet.. Just got a few fluffy write ups...

Welcome SLY,

Most restaurants charge $20 for a slab Ala carte on the take out menu so
that is in the ball park.

If you are going to the party, just tell him to supply you with the
meat, and that will be your dish.
