Where are you from. Born and raised in S.E. Michigan,
What do you do. By day I'm a mild mannored truck yard manager, By night(and weekend) I transform into a mild mannored barbecued guy...
How long have you been cooking? On and off since I was in my late teens, I was the guy at the party that took care of the food, used to love getting my friends together and cooking steaks or grilling up a turkey for Thanksgiving. Didn't really get too serious about barbecue until I met Billy at a festival about four years ago.
How old are you? I'll be 41 at the end of May
If I did it, I don't remember...

My turn Eh?
Hmmm lets see,
born on the left coast (san francsico) raised all over the US from FL to NM to CA to MO. Currently reside in Kentucky - the bluegrass state - where people think bbq comes out of an oven
I am a jack of all trades, from working on cars/trucks to construction. Currently I'm 2nd shift Team Leader for Overseas/Oversize shipments for Toyota Motor Mfg Ky (Glorified truck driver!)
Been Q'in for a couple years now, thanks for Flatland nudging me to get into it. I'm really glad I did! Ive done a bit of catering last year, hoping to do alot more this year, maybe even a comp or two.

Unfortunately, some people believe that no matter where you are. Just add BBQ sauce and you've got it! We've got to teach 'em otherwise!

Born and raised in Nashville TN I'm an accountant for the State of TN Treasury Dept. Also, do some catering, and work part time for a Gun Show promoter. ( i know, when do I have time to cook?) Been cooking as long as I can remember, always had an interest in cooking. First cooker was a Brinkman Pitmaster, then I bought a Oklahoma Joes, then got the towable Davis Smoker. I still have all 3 of them, can't stand to part with the first 2 yet. Competed in my first cook off in April 2006 (charity event) and been competing in back yard or shade tree competitions ever since. Have also made some great friends in the process. Would love to turn pro in a few years.
I'm 43 yrs old.
