Tonight during the 2nd segment I will be joined by 2008 KCBS Team of the Year pit master Robert Magee of Munchin’ Hogs at the Hilton. I will be talking with him about how long he has been in competition bbq, how he was able to hold off an ever growing field of talent to win it all in 2008, some inside info on his cooker and techniques and who knows what else. Robert also just won the first KCBS sanctioned event in Great Bend, KS over the weekend…looks like he is off to another fast start beating out 2008 Jack Daniels champ Kelly Wertz of 4 Legs Up BBQ and friend of the show Rod Gray of Pellet Envy.
In the 3rd segment, making her monthly guest appearance will be Connie Rempe. She will be armed with a new set of recipes to dazzle your taste buds so keep a pen handy to jot down the info! Connie always brings unique recipes that are easily made by any level of cook.
