We don't celebrate Valentine's in our house. But that's only because our anniversary is on Feb 17 (this year is our 14th) so I get to avoid the shopping rush

Luckily I was paying all the bills today and somehow remembered to get a card.
She made chocolate fluff and dark chocoltae dipped strawberries tonight.

My wife has always said to me "Never buy flowers for me on Valentines day", she say's they jack up the price so much she would hate for me to spend that kind of money on flowers.
We usually just have a nice dinner at home, and I try to make it a special day for her, by not having her lift a finger to do any "Work" all day.
Today's dinner is some nice USDA Prime steaks, Baked taters, some veggies and chocolate dipped strawberries. :)...Mood lighting...Sinatra playing softly in the background.
That's about it

Apparently my wife stumbled across the Bacon Explosion recipe.

She asked me this morning if I would make her one for Valentines day.
She added a twist. Now she wants me to cut her a slice of the BE, top it with a large shrimp and cover it all in a sauce we use to make Cajun Pistols.

I don't like to go out and eat so I went to the new Butcher here in town and got him to cut a 4" thick steak from a CAB Prime Rib and then butterfly it into a perfect HEART SHAPE. He trimmed it perfect and I am cooking supper for my Wife tonight and serving a Heart Shaped High Priced Rib Eye Steak
