Next Tuesday, I am planning on doing turkey's for family and friends. The question I have should I brine or not? Will be using a cooker with firebox and plan on using charcoal and applewood. Any suggestions. Thanks

Mostly a personal decision, but I like to brine it.

I tried a brine turkey for the first time this past Thanksgiving, I (and my customers) enjoyed it SO much I will never NOT brine again !

It depends on the turkey, if it is a solution added then brinning is not needed the producer has already added salt water, if not then brinning is a good idea.

Thanks guys, will try brine on a few and the rest use olive oil and garlic salt, and grill at a higher temp. so not to dry out the meat.

Any other suggestions or comments are welcomed! thanks again
