I'm wondering if any of you in Florida have enjoyed the fine barbecue at Jim's Barbecue in Reddick, FL. It's between Ocala & Gainesville, right off I-75 exit 72, "Irvine/Orange Lake". I discovered Jim's in 1999, and have stopped there each time I pass through the area.

Jim's has one of the major requirements for good barbecue...it's attached to a gas station!

The sliced pork is good, as are the ribs! Onion rings are delicious and batter-dipped...UMM!!

I don't think I have ever noticed it being there Carol...which I don't go any farther south than Gainesville that often...and when I do I generally take 19 which skirts the gulf coast. But I'll be a looking for it next time I'm that way and on I-75. Must be just below Gainesville...I think exit 75 is the one I usually get off at...which is the 3rd one headed south.
