It seems to me that many successful restaurants serve very large meat and starch portions. Requiring the consumer to buy more than they really need or want and providing doggie bags. It helps the bottom line serving 1 1/2 to 2 portions to a person and pricing accordingly. If a "half order" sandwich is offered it is usually not half price.
