Wife was in a World Market yesterday and found a new cool grill for me. Terracotta shaped like a pig. Handmade in Indonesia. Tag says it is a common type grill used on the beaches of Bali & Indonesia. Small cooking surface - about 3/4 hibachi size. Had seen these in a World Market ad a couple of years ago but they did not have any left in stock and never got another shipment. Doubt that I'll use it a lot - maybe a couple strip steaks, burgers, hot dogs, or sausages. really just wanted one for the conversation factor.

I know Billy. There's a food catalog that sells 8" cakes for $70 and up. Ridiculous. Those Steak packages or Steak and Lobster ones can wipe out your 401K faster than Wall Street.

I wish I was born with two stomachs. All the best, Al.

Yeah, that Napa Style catalog is a real joke. It should be called Crappa Style. Overpriced items, shamelessly promoted by a Chef who seems to have lost his way and got overly inflated and engulfed by his own hype.

Mine is nowhere near that large. It is the one that Bob In Fla posted the picture of. Cost $24.99. Would hold about 2 burgers, maybe 1/2 dozen dogs or brats, or a couple of other smaller items. Not an every day cooker - just a cool conversation piece.
